Mother’s Day Celebration

My first Mother’s Day couldn’t be more special. We visited Claire’s cousins in Charlotte, North Carolina. Had a delicious brunch, spent a few hours playing in the park, went antique shopping and ended with a barbecue at home. Watching these 3 little girls together was the biggest treat. Hope your Mother’s Day was equally special. IMG_2083

Afternoon at Mount Vernon

We feel very lucky to live in a state where we are a driving distance from some extraordinary sights. They say, Virginia is for Lovers, but we think it’s also for explorers:)
On Saturday, we took a little day trip to George Washington’s Mount Vernon.IMG_1333
