Afternoon at Mount Vernon

We feel very lucky to live in a state where we are a driving distance from some extraordinary sights. They say, Virginia is for Lovers, but we think it’s also for explorers:)
On Saturday, we took a little day trip to George Washington’s Mount Vernon.IMG_1333

Visit to Boston

This week we took a quick trip to Boston. It was our first visit to this charming and historic city. Even though, the weather was not very spring-like we made the most of it and explored the sights. We visited the Boston Public Garden, walked the Harvard University grounds and ate our way through the city:) We enjoyed delicious lobster rolls at Abby Lane Food & Spirits, had quick breakfast at the tiniest 150 square feet Mike & Patty’s and a fantastic dinner at Russell House Tavern. All in all, we look forward to visiting Boston again and finding the best cannoli – recommendations welcomed:) Here are some photos from the trip.IMG_1149IMG_1178IMG_1147IMG_1136IMG_1161IMG_1191IMG_1195 IMG_1197 IMG_1210IMG_1219 IMG_2022IMG_1221
